I’m fondly referred to as the “Swiss-Army Knife” coordinator, because I do a little bit of everything at LVC. I work with the Performing Arts Department delivering programming during the summer at Theater Camp and during the school year at RISE Up! I lead the “Island Survival” After School Programs at St. Josaphat and Prince of Peace Schools. I design curriculum and flyers, manage social media, and take photos of everyone. My favorite things to do involving spending time with our hilarious and brilliant youth.

How did you get started working with non-profits?
As a teenager, I started interning with First Stage, Wisconsin's largest children's theatre and the nation's second largest children's theatre academy. I worked with them again in college during an administrative internship and as a Teaching Assistant, then later as a Lead Teacher at the Kluge Community Learning Center. Through my time there, I branched out to other cool places in the Milwaukee community that teach kids about arts and theater. LVC is one of those places that blends youth work with arts programming, and I have loved continuing to learn and grow with the Lake Valley Camp family.
I started out as a Theater Camp counselor in the summer of 2015, and kept asking for more and more to do. I joined Samantha as part of the RISE Up team, and there was no looking back.
