Theater Camp

"LVC’s year-round programming demonstrates the true dedication it has to youth and its sincere desire to mentor and play a positive role in their lives." - Joanna, Camp Counselor 09'-10'

Theater Camp is an optional program for Pioneer and Voyager participants, offering experiences in a variety of Performance Art skills and disciplines. The days begin at 9 am and end at 4 pm, and are filled with elective activities and group projects that culminate in a final share for friends and family at the end of the week. Participants have the choice to complete several different takeaway projects including puppets, masks, costume designs, or scenic designs.

Favorite Moment: “Each camper spent the week of theater camp working on a sock puppet, and at the end of the week, they created short, funny scenes to present at the final share for the parents. Each week of the summer, I loved watching the campers have these elaborate conversations between their puppets and come up with hilarious storylines to act out.” -Hannah Klapperich-Mueller (Theater Camp Counselor)
