Supporting Youth

A child’s potential should not be limited by their circumstance, and we firmly believe that our youth have the right to be involved in activities and pursuits that nurture their spirit and support their passion. This is why LVC works tirelessly to ensure that our young people have access to purpose-driven, experience-based programs, facilitated by highly-skilled professionals who are firmly invested in their positive development and well-being.

Lake Valley Camp (LVC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has served and supported thousands of young people from the city of Milwaukee since our founding in 2002. Learn more here.

We Need Your Ideas!

Your opinion matters and we want you to be a part of our shaping our next chapter. You know we’re more than a summer camp. Over the 15 years we’ve been in operation we’ve evolved into a focused year-round leadership program for youth from early childhood into their adult years. Our new mission statement reflects this by communicating that our purpose is to bring out the limitless potential in young leaders through extraordinary experiences and nurturing relationships. Now it’s time we take another big step to make sure our identity and offerings are reflected in how the community recognizes us.

Please take a look at the video below and follow the instructions provided to share your ideas for our new name!

Every year hundreds of young people from the city of Milwaukee access LVC’s year-round programs taking place locally in and around the city of Milwaukee, at our 650-acre resident camp in the rolling hills of western Wisconsin, and on the lakes, rivers roads, and trails across the state of Wisconsin and beyond.  See our camp locations here.
