Youth Programs (Grades 1-5)

E.L.C.  (EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING CENTER) -  Grades 1st - 5th (Pathfinders & Pioneers) 
Tuesdays: October 2nd - December 18th,  4:00 pm - 6:00 pm (no programs on 10/23 or 11/20)
Salvation Army, 1645 N 25th Street

Feed your brain at ELC! This afterschool program offers nourishing snacks and projects designed to boost academic, social, and emotional skills.

Teen Programs (Grades 6-12)

WEDNESDAY NIGHTs -  Grades 9th - 12th (Teens)
October 3rd - December 19th, 5:00pm-8:30pm  (No programs 10/24 or 11/21)
LVC Program Center, 2480 W Cherry St

Wednesday Nights are recreational safe spaces for young people to socialize, explore interests, further develop skills and build academic success. Participants will be paired with a mentor for homework help and mentoring from 5:00-6:30 pm. From 7:00-8:15 participants explore and build on talents during interest clubs. Clubs change every 5 weeks to provide a wide variety of experiences for our youth. A light dinner is provided.  

THURSDAY NIGHTS -  Grades 6th - 8th (Voyagers)
October 3rd - December 19th, 4:30pm - 7:00pm (No programs 10/25 or 11/22)

Clubs change every 5 weeks to provide a wide variety of experiences for our youth. A light dinner is provided.

Friday Nights are recreational safe spaces for young people to socialize with other young people throughout Milwaukee.

COMMUNITY SERVICE - Grades 9th-12th (Teens)
October 12, location TBD, 9:00a-12:00p (Drop-off at LVC by 8:30a)

November 17, (Feeding America), 9:00a-12:00p (Drop-off at LVC by 8:30a)

December 8, (City on a Hill), 9:00a-12:00p (Drop-off at LVC by 8:30a) 

Retreats

VOYAGER RETREAT (Grades 6-8)
October 12 - 14

PIONEER RETREAT (Grades 3-5)
October 19 - 21

Retreats are weekend excursions to our resident camp for seasonal activities on our 650-acre property in Boscobel, WI. Participants generally depart on Fridays by 5PM and return on Sunday afternoons. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

I grant permission for the participant to use Lake Valley Camp Transportation to and from the LVC Center and destination of the activity/activities. In case of illness or accident, Lake Valley Camp, Inc. is authorized to secure emergency medical treatment. Lake Valley Camp, Inc. is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal articles. I authorize Lake Valley Camp, Inc. to have and use photographs, slides, videotapes, and written quotations of the persons named in this application as may be needed for its public relations programs. I agree to waive any claims against Lake Valley Camp, Inc. and its staff and volunteers of injuries or damages that may result from the conduct of other persons including participants in Lake Valley Camp, Inc. programs.

An unexcused absence may result in loss of participation for all future programming with our organization.
